Traditional South of France holiday villa to sleep 10 in 5 bedrooms, on a Languedoc Domaine. FRIDAY ARRIVAL
This French holiday home has been traditionally renovated with love and care. The accommodation is on various levels with quirky mezzanine floors, accessed by open wooden staircases (Sturdy, but not suitable for the very young or old, hand rails planned).
External stairs lead up to the entrance of the holiday property.
Friday arrival day, flexible off season.
This lovely stone building has been renovated by the owner to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation, 1.5km from the traditional Languedoc village of Puimisson, near to Beziers and just 25 minutes from the beaches. This holiday home is perfect for a family break in the South of France.
The house has an authentic French style with a Provencal influence. The accommodation is on different levels with quirky mezzanine floors, great for older children to explore, the 5 bedrooms are spread around the property so great if you wish to be away from the snorers in the family! This house is perfect for families with adolescent children who want to have a 'dorm' in one of the mezannines.
An industrial strength air-conditioning unit (programmed by the owner) cools the house in the evening and morning.
The heated above ground pool (6m x 5.5m) is gated and secure.
There is a sister property Gite Lucienne also on the domaine.
Extra accomodation can be provided for 2 people in the recently renovated tower, "la Follie" which will also have a hot -tun on the roof terrace! contact us for prices (La Follie can only be rented with this villa)

OUTSIDE - This Languedoc Roussillon holiday Mas has its own private entrance with electric gates.
There are terraces on different levels and a courtyard, and you can relax on one of the sun-loungers, snooze in the shade on a day bed or take a dip in the pool.
Dine alfresco as there is a gas BBQ and an outside dining area.
The heated pool (no extra charge) is very secure for young children as it is raised above the ground and surrounded by a fence. It measures 6m x 5.5m, one could say it is almost like a large Jacuzzi without the jets!
Just outside the domaine you will find acres of vineyards, visit in September to see the harvest taking place.

The Domaine is situated about 1.5km from Puimisson, a typical South of France wine-producing village with several excellent wineries, a baker, tobacconist, café-bar and post office.
The owner can organise, wine tasting, grape and olive picking on the domaine and guided walks in the surrounding countryside. There are also local antiques for sale at the domaine.
Beziers apprx 10km. The cathedral dominates this busy market town, rising majestically above the river Orb. The lively Feria in August lasts five days; bull-fighting, paellas, flamenco dancing, and partying in the streets until the early hours of the morning.
South of France beaches apprx 20km.
Parc Naturel du Haut Languedoc apprx 20km north of Thezan are the mountains and rocky gorges of the Caroux mountains.
Great canoeing on the river Orb.
Agde apprx 25km. Old historic town and fishing port, founded by the Ancient Greeks. Nice market, excellent seafood restaurants
Cap d'Agde apprx 30km. 'Aqualand' (huge water-slides, etc.) 27-hole golf course.
Narbonne apprx 35km. Once the capital of Roman Gaul. Famous cathedral.

Special Rental Conditions
Changeover day is Fridays. Arrival at 5pm. Depart at 9.30 am. Late arrival (6 - 9pm) possible only by prior arrangement. Please ensure that when you buy your aeroplane ticket, the flight time will allow for arrival before 9pm at the very latest.
Breakages
€500 cash on arrival, returned less deductions for any breakages on morning of departure.

Cleaning
End-of-Stay cleaning charge: Included, Maid service during your stay available at €25 per hour. End-of-stay cleaning charge is to cover "normal" cleaning throughout the house. However, while you are therefore not expected to hoover and mop everywhere, you are expected to leave kitchen appliances (ie. oven and fridge), crockery, kitchen utensils, and bathroom appliances clean, and not to leave litter in the garden. If the house is left in an unacceptable state, further monies may be retained from the breakages deposit

Party Sizes
The owner is entitled to ask you to leave the property without any refund if the number of occupants exceeds 10 including babies.

Fire: This is a region which has a high fire risk. It is forbidden to start fires anywhere in the property grounds. Only light BBQs in the area designated for this purpose. Swimming pool Safety: The owner is not responsible for any bodily injury next to or in the swimming pool. Children must be surveyed at all times.
