This charming 2 bedroom farmhouse rental can accommodate up to 5 guests and is ideally situated in the Vendee region the village of Ste Gemme la plaine which offers two bars, two restaurants, small supermarket shops and a post office. There is ample parking for guests; who are looking to explore this beautiful region of France.

The accommodation of this wonderful Vendee holiday farmhouse comprises of a well equipped, modern kitchen and a large open plan style living area with dining table and chairs, settees and wood burning stove. One of the bedrooms sleeps three guests in one double and one single bed, and the other bedroom has a double bed. There is an upstairs shower room and toilet. This tastefully renovated ste gemme self catering home boasts a large lawn for ball games with volleyball/badminton net, BBQ and dining areas and large 10x5.5 m swimming pool.

The local village of Ste Gemme la plaine is situated between Luçon and Fontenay Le Comte, on the edge of the Marais Poitevin, known as the "Venise Verte" or "Green Venise". The pretty cathedral town of Lucon can be reached in just 10 minutes, whilst Coulon, more widely known as one of "the most beautiful villages of France" is just 60km's drive and boasts an attractive church, and a wonderful selection of shops, bars and restaurants line the picturesque streets. Boats can be hired along the quayside and used to explore the intricate network of tree lined waterways created in the 13th century by monks and more widely known as Green Venise. Other activities available locally include Wind-Surfing, Sailing, Swimming, Fishing, Tennis, Cycling and much more.
