Two Well Appointed Gites set in an acre of Gardens

Kergristien is a small hamlet situated in the beautiful French countryside overlooking the Blavet valley. 'Ty Park' means a house in the meadow in the Breton language. The property sits in an acre of gardens and a small wood.

The owners have renovated two very well-appointed gites, Ty Dorothie and Ty Jeanne which both overlook the 16th century chapel of St. Nicodeme.

This is a lovely and comfortable two bedroom gite, one double and one twin, and can sleep up to five with a shower and toilet upstairs.

The kitchen is modern and well equipped with cooker, microwave, fridge and washing machine.

The comfy lounge/ diner has a wood burner, french tv & dvd player CD and radio with plenty of games and books.

Outside you have your own private patio and barbecue overlooking stunning scenery.

Two minutes away from the property there is the village of Plumeliau which has supermarkets, local shops, bars and restaurants.

St. Nicholas Des Eaux, a village which sits on the river Blavet is one kilometre away. Here you can find more restaurants and bars, you can also take a boat trip on the Blavet.

Southern Brittany coast is 30 minutes by car where there are countless safe and clean beaches. French markets are an experience to be savoured and there are many going on in the area.

Morbihan has so much to offer and see.

The Celtic festival in Lorient where musicians from all over the world come to perform from the first Friday to the second Sunday each August, to the Megaliths in Carnac, from the rugged coasts of the Cote Savage on the Quiberon penninsula to the magnificent chateau at Josselin there is always something to see.

St. Goustan the port of Auray is well worth a visit with its cobbled streets and many restaurants. Monday is a market day here and this is one of the biggest markets in this region.

If you prefer peace and tranquility visit the 6th century church on the little island of St. Cado.

Coming more up to date a new adventure and activity park has opened in the beautiful forest of Camors which is proving very popular with all the family.

Another must is a trip to Poul Fetan a reconstructed village from the 15th century where they demonstrate skills from a bygone age.

Locally there is golf, go-karting, canoeing, cycling, walking and fishing.

Perfect for families with children.
