This traditionally built stone cottage is nestled in the historical old quarter of Nontron village in the Dordogne, just a 2 minutes walk to restaurants, bars and shopping.
The townhouse comprises of a large double bedroom and 2 twin rooms. The property has a further spacious bathroom with a shower, and bath and toilets are situated on both floors.
The well equipped kitchen has all the modern conveniences necessary for a relaxing stay. The cottage rental is fully insulated and has central heating for the cooler months. The open plan living and dining area overlooks the pretty courtyard; there is a BBQ and ample garden furniture for guests to enjoy eating Al fresco during the wonderful summer days and balmy evenings. The garden also boasts a raised terrace area which would be ideal for enjoying a glass of wine whilst enjoying the magnificent views of Nontron and the beautiful valley. From here, you walk up a few steps which will take you into the rest of garden which is full of flowers and partly laid to lawn the garden is a wonderful place to relax in the sun. There is also a set of swings in the garden for the children to enjoy.
When you leave this charming Cottage to explore your surroundings further you will find tennis, swimming, restaurants, bars and shopping are only a short stroll. In addition, horse- riding, boating and windsurfing are available at the lake at St. Estephe just 10 minutes from the property.

Special Rental Conditions
You have the option of cleaning the property your selves at the end of your stay and everything is provided for this. If you'd rather not then a fee of £60.00 is required for this service. If you would rather not clean the house your selves then the payment is required along with the final payment 10 weeks before the commencement of the holiday.
Electricity charges
Charges are made at 14 pence a unit for the electricity used during your stay, this charge is purely covering the cost per unit charged by EDF. The cleaner will write down the units on the electricity meter when you arrive and then what is shown on the meter when you leave. I do advise that you also take a copy of the meter reading when you arrive and when you leave to avoid any contradictions.
We also ask for an up front deposit of £120.00 which covers any breakages or damage expenses to the house or furnishings and cleaning.
If any breakages occur could you inform us and replace the item with, as close a match as is possible.
If this is not possible and our caretaker informs us of a breakage or substandard cleaning then we shall have to take the expenses out from this deposit.
Although if no breakages, damage occur and the house is left in a clean condition then the deposit will be fully refunded.
