Our trip to the Limousin coincided with some unfortunate seasonal weather, but we couldn't have wished for better hospitality during the April showers. The hosts are very knowledgeable of the local area, produce and wildlife. We saw buzzards and red kites on our walks around beautiful countryside. The hosts served some excellent meals featuring local produce and were also able to direct us to the best local restaurants. A stand-out day trip was to the nearby aqueduct just over into the next department of the Auvergne - remarkable French engineering! Views across the valley are sensational from this spot. We came home that night with tired legs but also hungry bellies ready for more excellent food.
I would say 10 out of 10 for my rating!

we had a lovely stay, superb food and wine. and our labrador holly had fun with andrea's 2 golden retreivers. highly recommended.
