The grounds of the cottages boast a large swimming pool and lawns for a game of Boules, there are numerous areas for relaxing or sunbathing and a BBQ for cooking Al fresco and enjoying the stunning views over the vineyards and surrounding scenery. Guests of the cottages are situated within easy reach the local village where there is a patisserie, boulangerie, mini-market and bar. The village of Thouarcé which has a larger supermarket is just a scenic 5 minutes drive away.

The local area is perfect for numerous outdoor activities such as walking, cycling. Nearby is Brissac-Quincé boasting a lovely chateau and beautiful grounds, restaurants, horse riding, bike hire, and golf. The historic town of Angers has a fortified castle, wonderful tapestries and an excellent selection of shops. Saumur, famous for its chateau, sparkling wine, and home to the Cadre Noir is just a 35 min drive. A variety of water sports like swimming and canoeing can be found at Rochefort-sur-Loire and is 20 minute drive away, whilst the sandy Atlantic beaches at La Baule and Sables d’Olonne are just 2 hours away.
