A wonderful opportunity to rent this 3 bedroom house, situated in the beautiful Languedoc-Roussillon / Aude region of France.

The house comprises 3 bedrooms; the master bedroom has a double bed and there is a further twin bedded room and a small room with bunk beds. A cot is also available for babies. The house has a wonderful Mediterranean air about it with it's tiled floors and white walls to help keep it cooler in the summer months. A log burner, however, ensures the house is always cosy for winter lets or cooler nights.

There is a modern, well equipped kitchen with a good range of cooking utensils, crockery and glassware. There are plastic plates, cups and cutlery for young children, a full size oven with grill, 4 ring electric hob and a fridge with a small freezer compartment. The house boasts a large wooden table which can seat 6 guests, plus a high chair and a small seating area with a TV/DVD player. There is also a small selection of adult and children's DVDs, plus a bookcase full of English books. From this room you can gain access onto the terrace where you will find a dining table, 6 chairs, parasol, BBQ area and 2 sun loungers. The garden area is completely safe for young children to play as it is fenced in.

If you venture further afield from the property you can use the two bikes available (one with a baby seat). There is also a cool box, picnic set, 2 picnic chairs and a parasol that you can use when exploring the beautiful surroundings of the Aude department of France.

The tranquil village has a daily bread van and weekly visits from butcher and greengrocer. This is perfect cycling and walking country, with a variety of trails and cycling paths for all abilities. For beginners a ride or walk along the Canal du Midi is a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

The nearest town is Limoux and boasts a good selection of shops and restaurants to suit all budgets. The wonderful walled city of Carcassonne is just 40 km from the property and well worth a day trip, if you still have time left at the end of the day on the outskirts of Carcassonne is a wonderful lake with a small beach, the perfect environment for guests of all ages. There is mini golf course, pedaloes for hire and for the more adventurous is the aerial adventure park.
