Absolutely fablous! The villa was exactly as described. We were warmly welcomed by the owner, who could not have been nicer. We recommend this to all Americans as the owner is fluent in English and happy to answer questions, or solve any issues with a smile and a great laugh. The house was immaculately clean and perfect for a relaxing vacation taking day trips all around Provence. Great time!

Villa Vanesse is a beautiful and charming villa. The location is secluded yet close to numerous places of interest... Avignon, many vineyards, Sorgues... so much to see!

Many restaurants in the area to recommend as well, Chez Serge, Le Vivier... And should you want to cook yourself the kitchen and tools in the villa are first class. So much to see and do! But the villa itself, with the lovely heated pool tempts one to simply laze in your bathing suit (or without) and soak in the sun.

Astrid, the owner, is as gracious and charming as the villa and when we had a problem it was solved so quickly it was a distant memory before we had to leave.

Villa Vannesse is a well maintained and relaxing paradise on the outskirts of Sarrians. And for once we found fantastic kitchen equipment including sharp knives!! What a treat as we both like to cook. The outdoor kitchen is great fun and keeps cooking smells out of the house.

There was lots of space for our family of 4 with a cool vine-covered patio giving onto the sunny pool.

Astrid was very helpful and thoughtful, and responded rapidly to the few questions we had.

We hiked the Dentelles de Montmirail and visited the Abbaye of Sennaque. But we appreciated the restful calm of Villa Vannesse most of all.

Our group of four adult couples enjoyed our stay in Sarrians immensely, sampling all that Provence has to offer. The location is excellent, the villa is marvellous and the owner Astrid is an absolute dream! We travelled daily and were no more than a 40 minute drive from almost all of our destinations. The villa was roomy, perfectly suitable for 8 adults or for a single large family. We were able to swim every day in the pool, cooked many meals in either the indoor or outdoor kitchen, and enjoyed the privacy of the large property. Astrid recommended several excellent restaurants not far away and other jewels not familiar to many. Highly recommended! We definitely want to come back!

My family and some friends stayed at Villa Vanesse for two weeks in August. We had a wonderful time. The villa was clean, spacious and very well appointed. The owner, Astrid, was charming, kind and extremely helpful. We had a few small technical problems with the hot water and Astrid not only fixed it immediately, but gave us a bottle of wine for our trouble. She was also kind enough to voluntarily heat the pool when the weather turned cool for a couple days. The villa is extremely conveniently located to take day trips all over Provence, but still lovely enough to enjoy staying home and relaxing by the pool. We truly enjoyed our stay at Villa Vanesse.

I feel extremely fortunate to have found Astrid's wonderful house for a week at the start of September. We looked forward to starting each day with breakfast outside by the pool, and ended many days cooking at both the inside and outside kitchens. We even made use of the pasta roller/cutter for fresh pasta one evening!

Astrid was a wonderful host, and was extremely helpful when we had our only snafu of a light switch that didn't work.

The town of Sarrians offers many different grocery options and made an excellent starting point to experience Avignon, Gordes, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and more. Astrid's recommendations for activities, markets and restaurants really added to our experience as well.

Although we have rented numerous vacation rentals in the past, it always feels like a bit of a gamble. There have been times we have been disappointed with rentals or it met our expectations. This villa was a pleasant surprise to our family in that it exceeded what we hoped for. It is very private and offers a place where you can comfortably relax. The villa itself was very clean upon arrival and it is clear that a lot of thought went into the home. Astrid was an excellent host who was easy to reach and always willing to provide help when we needed it. She even surprised us by providing groceries for our first breakfast. Location was great in that we were only a short drive away from great wineries. We also really enjoyed Avignon, the Roman ruins, and the market at Carpentras. All in all, a lovely holiday in a beautiful part of France.

Our family of 5 adults arrived to this beautiful home and enjoyed the most relaxing vacation. We had spent a very hot and "tourist" week in Paris and then wrapped up our stay at this beautiful home of Astrid's. She was great to work with during our planning stages and welcomed us at this home with some basic food after a long ride from Paris. Her hospitality was very warm and if we had any issue, she was prompt to respond because she resides close by. Her advise of where to shop and enjoy the city of Sarrians was very helpful. She also directed us to the right flea markets and enjoyed the local vegetables, fruits and most of all the cheeses (that went well with all the wine we bought at the local domaines)

You will not regret booking this residence because we definitey plan to return. It has ALL of the conveniences of home away from home. It is secluded enough so you feel like you are definitely out of the mainstream and can relax. We particulary enjoyed the individual room A/C controls and the spacious arrangements to accomodate 5 adults.

Our family of 2 parents and 3 teenagers had a wonderful experience staying at Villa Vanesse. My family was concerned because I am extremely picky about hotel accommodations, but the villa was beautiful. The kitchen had been designed by a professional chef - cooking in it was a pure delight, especially because the Intermarche only a short drive away. Everything including the pool was sparkling clean and the plumbing was top notch. Though there were plenty of windows making it airy and bright, the location and high hedges surrounding the property gave us complete privacy. The owner's wife was very pleasant, accessible, and knowledgeable about the area. She gave us great information about local markets and Provencal towns to visit; her tips helped our day trips go much more smoothly. We have already recommended Villa Vanesse to several of our friends who are considering trips to Provence, and we are convinced we could not have found a more perfect place to stay.
