Le Clos Jean Cottages are successfully run by Robin and Jean. The cottages are easily accessible by car through the eurotunnel, ferry ports and the airport at Dinard. We have at present four fully fitted gites in two locations, separated by a couple of minutes walk across the garden. In 'Le Clos Jean' we have renovated a traditional stone Normandy longhouse into 3 lovely gites; The Finches, 3 Bedroomed sleeps 8, The Jays 4 bedroomed sleeps 10 and The Robins 3 bedroomed sleeps 9. We now have private pools for each cottage! Across the garden in La Petite Cour, also a traditional longhouse, we have The Chestnut cottage that sleeps up to 8 people – also with a new, private pool. There are extensive gardens, each cottage has its own private area, and they are peaceful and tranquil to walk through. The grounds are safe for children and ideal for dogs. There is FREE WIFI Internet access in all the cottages, for your phone or Laptop.

FINCHES COTTAGE is a delightful 3 bedroom stone cottage with private swimming pool situated close to all amenities and just an hours drive from the coast. It would make an ideal base for up to 8 guests wishing to explore Normandy.

The accommodation of the property comprises of 2 double bedrooms, one of which is a family room with a double bed and bunks. The third bedroom also has bunk beds. A cot and a highchair are also available for guests with younger children.

A separate bathroom has a washbasin, WC and a shower cubicle. The spacious lounge is open plan and features a ceramic tiled floors and beautiful views of both the front garden and orchard to the side.

There is a separate WC under the stairs. The beautiful stone fireplace houses a log burning stove. Also provided at the cottage is a DVD player and a TV receiving Sky Freeview channels, internet access AND free WI-FI.

The cottages are located close to the local village of Le Teilleul which has all the basic amenities, bakers, butchers, supermarket and cafes. If activity holidays are what you seek then at Torchamp is just 10 minutes from the cottage where you can enjoy water sports such as fishing, kayaking, canoeing. This area is also fantastic for cyclists, walkers and a good location for a picnic.

The coast can be reached in under an hour and has fantastic places like Granville which is a famous historical fishing resort with elegant architecture, quaint shops, cafes and restaurants.
