New One Bedroom Saint-Remy-de-Provence Apartment in Private Residence with Pool, France Reviews

My wife, 2 year old son, and I rented the apartment for 5 days. The apartment is in a perfect location...walking distance to the center of St. Remy (as well as the carousel my son rode at least 50 times).

The apartment was clean, had all the amenities needed, and a wonderful balcony to enjoy the evenings with a glass of rose wine.

Would definitely consider staying here again!

My husband, son, and I stayed at this apartment for 6 nights in early June. It is an ideal location, within a short walk of charming downtown St. Remy. St. Remy proved to be an excellent home base for exploring Avignon, Nimes, Pont du Gard, Les Baux, and the Luberon. The apartment is very secure, with an assigned parking space in the garage. It was nice and quiet, and we ate all of our meals on the balcony. Unlike some other rentals we have experienced, the kitchen is well equipped with coffee makers, toasters, pots, pans, etc. The apartment was clean, attractive, and nicely furnished. The only negative (which was as advertised) is the lack of air conditioning. It probably won't be an issue for most people, but my son was scared to sleep with the balcony doors open, so we got a little hot at night.

We really enjoyed our stay in this property. It was comfortable and clean. We were also impressed with the amenities it offered. Of course the location was great. The owners were very nice, accommodating and helpful. It even has underground parking for your vehicle. We would have jumped into the pool too but it was a tad cool out when we were there in April. Perfect modern well equipped apartment with large balcony to enjoy a wine only two minutes walk to the centre of delightful St Remy. Very secure and excellent underneath parking. A beautiful swimming pool well maintained. Everything was new and clean. frederic an excellent host and very helpful. We had the most perfect week. Thank you

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in St Remy. A highlight of our trip to Europe. This apartment is modern, spotlessly clean and has good amenities. The apartment has free wifi, a kitchenette with small fridge/freezer and full oven and stove, and a secure designated car park available under the building. The pool area was very nice and the pool itself was very refreshing after a day of sightseeing in summer (air temp was in the 30s while we were there). The apartment is an easy short walk from the town centre with loads of amazing restaurants and cafes to choose from. Be aware that restaurants operate on French time, so you will only be able to eat from about 7:30-8:00pm onwards. St Remy is a pretty little town in itself and is also a great base to explore the rest of the region, including Gordes, Avignon, Baux de Provence, the Carmargue, Arles, Aix en Provence, etc. I would recommend a car if you want to explore outside of St Remy. In summary, this apartment is excellent value for money, in a great location and is modern, clean and neatly decorated. Would definitely recommend.

We stayed in this apartment early July .Location is perfect if you want to be in the city and be able to walk to restaurants. We were there during a heat wave,was worried about being able to sleep at night with no ac . We opened the door to the patio and the breeze was able to keep us cool at night. this apartment was able to meet our needs and Fredric was really nice ,spoke English well and answered email promptly if need be. Definitely will stay here again for its location alone.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Anlage wirkt sehr sicher und ist sehr sauber. Alles passte und wir waren rundum zufrieden. Einen kleinen Wernutstropfen gab es leider: Die Nachbarn über uns haben eines Abends bis spät in die Nacht eine laute Party gefeiert. Sonst war es aber sehr ruhig und angenehm. Der Pool ist toll und auch der Tiefgarsgenplatz!

Would highly recommend this apartment. Very handy if you have a car, it has covered secure parking garage. The whole building is quite secure. Just a block and a half from the old, quaint, St. Remy, which is loaded with restaurants and shopping. We used the apartment as a base to visit several nearby areas of Provence, the location is handy for Arles, Nimes, Avignon, Pont du Gard, Les Baux and hiking in the Alpilles, just to name those we visited. We would definitely stay again. Frederic was very helpful. The weather was not yet warm enough to try out the pool. The apartment, in cool weather, is a little cold feeling - the heating works great, but the tile floors stay very cool. In the heat of summer, I think it will be ideal, the tile will feel great, and the North facing balcony will get little if any direct sun exposure, should be refreshing after a hot day sight seeing.

Best restaurants that we tried were L'Estagne and La Forge. Best Boulangerie/Patisserie we tried was Festival de Pains. Try their pistachio tart and their almond cookie like creation.

This was our second stay in this lovely central apartment. This time we came when Saint Rémy was 'en fête' - great fun and it made us appreciate even more the apartment's secure underground parking and its proximity to the heart of the village. Frédéric again made us very welcome, providing us with a full itinerary for the Fête.

Saint Rémy is a great base for exploring this part of Provence and, however long you stay, you will never run out of things to do or places to go.

The apartment itself is clean, bright, well-equipped and very comfortable for two people. Although close to the centre, it is also very quiet. We cannot rate it highly enough.
