Meschers Holiday Rental Home, near Royan, Charente-Maritime Reviews

Had a smashing time in Meschers, all the facilities you could ever need in the bungalow.
The weather wasn't too kind during our stay, but that didn't stop us from enjoying ourselves.

Easy 10 minute walk (if that!) to the local bread shop or Super U, was never short of groceries and wine! The local brew from Talmont was exceptionally nice (found in supermarket) (Talmont village worth a visit too)

We walked for miles up the coastal path and had lunch at a couple of the beach cafe/restaurants on the way.

The port (many restaurants) and the local beach (in the opposite direction) are only 20 minutes walk away.

Loads to see and do in the area, loved it! Get to the Zoo at Palmyre if you get the chance, but allow yourself 4 hours while you are there to see it all and have a bit of lunch!

We chose Imagine as a destination to enjoy a week together as family before our daughter departs for University life. Having had a very hectic and intense period with work and study/exams we were all ready to do very little other than enjoy some quiet time. Imagine and Meschers is ideal for that. The house is wonderfully positoned close to all village amenities,beach,port,market and shops. A very quiet location with friendly but unintrusive neighbours to make you feel welcome. The house has everything you need to be comfortable and provide an ideal base for the holiday. Large rooms and good standard of furnishing lmakes this a "home from home". The owners are extremely helpful and attentive people who go out of their way to ensure all is in place for an enjoyable stay. I would recommend this highly for relaxing holiday seekers as it has so much going for it. You have no need to leave the village if you so wish as eveything you need is within walking distance of this property. Do not hesitate to book this you will not be disappointed.

My wife and I spent a perfect two weeks at Imagine. Beautiful house and Garden, big roms and all the furnature and equipment that you could ask for. Nice village and local beaches.
