La Mestiere is situated on a private lane adjacent to the village. On the ground floor is an open plan living area with plenty of comfy sofas. Various board games, books and a selection of films and music are provided alongside TV and DVD player. There is a large well equipped kitchen with breakfast area, further dining area which can seat up to 10 people. There is also a cloakroom/utility room with washing machine.
On the first floor there are two double bedrooms both with additional bed settees (if required) and a triple room too (full size single + bunks). On this level you’ll also find a bathroom and second sitting room with a large granite fireplace. On the third floor is a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Free Wifi internet access is available depending on device, either from the gite or from the owners property.
Outside is a terrace and seating area with barbecue. The garden area is large and secure with a 12ft trampoline, swings and ample space for ball games. A number of bikes are available, free of charge, if desired. Linen is provided (bath towels at extra charge) and cleaning is included – as long as it’s not excessive! For out of season rentals an additional charge will be made dependent on electricity and log usage.
In the village of Notre Dame du Touchet is a bakery, excellent bar/restaurant, shop, hairdressers, post office and doctor.
Situated close to the Mayenne and Brittany borders, the house is just a 10 minute drive from the market town of St. Hilaire. A lake leisure complex outside St Hilaire offers canoeing, kayaking, fishing and walks. A 45 minute drive takes you to beautiful unspoilt beaches, the magnificent Mont St. Michel, and the medieval town of Fougeres with its historic chateau.

TV Satellite, DVD Player, CD Player, Internet Access, WiFi Access, An extensive library, a wide selection of dvds and childrens games are also provided. Bikes are also available for guests to use at their own risk. A 4 course evening meal catering service is available, at an additional cost. If required. meals must be ordered by midday on the day of the meal.

We have endeavoured to keep our rental rates affordable and therefore guests are expected to leave the gite in good order. Costs will be deducted should excessive cleaning be required after departure.
