Each gite is furnished to a high standard and both make an excellent base in which to relax or to explore these stunning parts of western France. Come and enjoy your perfect peaceful retreat, close to all the amenities and activity you may wish for.
Each gite is available all year round. Rates are per week & fully inclusive of linen / towels / and low season heating. Long low season lets available in both - rates on request.
La Racaudiere - Vendee Beaches - Sleeps 9
Set on the edge of the pretty village of Angles with several restaurants and pavement cafes, and shops La Racaudiere is located just 5 minutes drive from the beautiful, vast ,clean beaches of La Conche (excellent for surfing, body boarding and sand sailing) plus lots of other small coves, pine forests and sand dune beaches. The larger resorts of La Tranche Sur Mer & Sable d'Lonne with further excellent beaches and golf courses are just a short 10 min drive away.
La Racaudiere is a former farmers stone cottage and has been renovated to to a high standard to retain lots of character and to provide a safe holiday environment for families. Light & bright rooms throughout with revealed stone walls have been used to create & provide a relaxing atmosphere with all the creature comforts and modern facilities you seek when not visiting the beaches and many close by attractions. All accommodation is one level making La Racaudiere ideal for those walking difficulties.
Large fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, dining area, large living room (with TV / DVD / CD) 4 bedrooms - 2 doubles, 1 bedroom with bunk beds and another with 2 singles (3rd possible), large shower room, family bathroom with separate walk-in shower, fully enclosed walled garden - ideal for young children, with BBQ, sunbeds, table and chairs.
