Les Marronniers is situated in a small village called La Bruguiere. La Bruguiere is a charming place, close to Avignon, Nimes, Arles, Pont du Gard and only 10 minutes from the beautiful town of Uzes. This beautiful Maison de Maître property was constructed in 1812 on three levels with an enclosed forecourt, shaded by chestnut trees – great for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere. On the other side of the house, guests have access to the good size swimming pool set in a lawn full of pleasant flowers. There is ample garden furniture. Offering a haven away from large hotels, we open our doors to only eight people (plus an occasional houseguest or two). The area is great for taking walks and even to practice French with the locals playing Boules.

The Location of Les Marronniers is close to perfect: the house is set in the heart of in a tranquil village, where one can enjoy a gentle stroll or watch the locals play boules.
There are plenty of surrounding villages, vineyards and Chateaux around to visit, you can go cycling, canoeing or swimming in the many rivers, are just a few of the activities available locally.
The Beautiful historic town of Uzés is only 10 minutes away by car, every Saturday it hosts one of the most colourful and interesting markets in Europe, the Uzége valley if full of picturesque villages, which are a joy to walk around and capture the life of the Midi.
Unique nature reserves such as the Cevennes, the Ardeche and the Camargue are less then an hour away, as are the historic towns of Orange, Nimes, Arles and Avignon.
Special Rental Conditions
There is a minimum stay of 3 nights in high season. Guests are welcome for short stays - just phone the evening before or on the day if you wish to stay.
We regret that we do not accept pets or children under 15.
For reservations we require either an electronic or written confirmation and 1/3 non-refundable deposit. Payment of the deposit, or the final balance if paying in full, may be made either with a personal cheque drawn on your bank in most currencies, or online by credit card using the Paypal system. Please note that the balance is payable in Euros on arrival, and that we are unable to accept credit card payments in France.
We strongly suggest that you obtain trip cancellation insurance.
