La Carrière Haute comprises of two separate buildings. It enjoys one hectare of land and the pool is on the lower level dominating a large field.
The main cottage enjoys a large sitting room with open fire, wooden beams and seating for 4. There is a separate kitchen/dining room with an antique open fire, dining table and seating for 8. One bed room, with en-suite bath room, is located on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a large landing, two bedrooms and a bathroom. All bedrooms have a double bed.
Across the courtyard is the second smaller cottage which has recently been tastefully renovated in keeping with properties in this beautiful area. It enjoys a newly restored sitting room with television and internet access. There is also a separate double bed room with en-suite shower and separate WC.
There are two large tables suitable for meals under a trellised vineyard. The swimming pool ( 12x6m) is situated on the lower terrace. On one side there is a garden and a large area for sun bathing and on the other a stunning view.
The Dordogne area is steeped in history – there are caves, castles, old churches on your door step.
