Lovely home

We had a lovely October break in St Chinian. Kirsten couldn't have been more helpful and kind. She even picked us up at the airport as we arrived on a Sunday and public transport wasn't available so she kindly offered. We were keen to do a lot of cycling and again Kirsten sent us local bike hire details. Excellent shop just at the end of the road. The house has been beautifully renovated and is very well equipped and comfortable. Is in an ideal location near to all the shops and restaurants. The town was quite quiet in October but we were impressed by the selection of bakers, butchers and the market was well worth visiting. We would have preferred to have a larger area to sit out and enjoy the sun, especially if we had stayed there in the summer but it suited for the time of year we were there.

Excellent location for touring the wine areas and some wonderful wines to enjoy.

Hidden Gem

This is a delightful property located in a beautiful area of a charming town. It is ideally situated for all amenities, especially the bi-weekly food markets.The property does not disappoint. The living area has been beautifully renovated in a modern Scandinavian style whilst the bedrooms retain the original French character. The garage area proved most useful for incidental storage, packing and unpacking. All facilities within the house are excellent. We hope to return and do more of the picturesque sign-posted walks in the area.

Visited this little pearl of a house in the summer of 2013. We were taken by the neatness, it was clean and lovely decorated. A mix of french romance and modern living. Wonderful terasse where we spend a lot of time. Enjoying hanging out the washing by the river while chatting with the friendly neighbours. The owner provided a fantastic service, as we had a small problem with the fridge, and it was solved the same day. The owner helped with suggestions to walks in the absolutely stunning surroundings. The landscape is breathtakingly beautiful. This small town has everything you need. Great markets, butchers, bakeries, restaurants not to forget all the fantastic wine of the area. We are in love with the house, the town the surroundings and have to come back in 2014.

Superb Gite in Serene Saint Chinian

We had a lovely sojourn in this little gem of a townhouse in the market-town of St. Chinian.

Everything was as per the description; friendly and professional service from the owner; the house was clean, in mint condition, and beautifully restored and decorated.
