La Grande Marque is situated above the valley of the Dordogne in charming and peaceful surroundings in the heart of the Perigord Noir, the jewel of the Dordogne region.


We have 5 double rooms in our Bed and Breakfast AND 4 flats to rent.Verena and Michel would like to cater for your well-being in an area that has so much to offer.

Our four centrally situated and well-equipped holiday flats guarantee a pleasant stay. They are all spacious and comfortable. In the kitchens, there are a cooker with an oven, a microwave oven, a dishwasher, a fridge with a deepfreeze compartment, a toaster, a kettle, a coffee machine and all the necessary dishes, cutlery and pots.

In the living rooms, there are a music system (radio, CD and cassette player)and a TV set with a video and a DVD player. Bedsheets and towels are included in the rent as well as a cot, an iron with an ironing board and an outdoor barbecue on request.

Each flat has its own terrace equipped with garden furniture. There are a pool, a tennis court, a children’s playground, an indoor playroom and a big library at everybody’s disposition. Our large park also offers a lot of possibilities to find a quiet place to relax sitting on one of the benches or swinging in a hammock.


Gîtes du Pin (Sleeps 2 to 4 people)
Our new authentic stone gite has been beautifully and lovingly furnished. It offers breathtaking views over the Dordogne Valley and is the basis for a truly authentic French holiday experience. It offers accomodation on two floors. Downstairs is a open living space with kitchen dining and living areas along with a double bed bed and a bathroom. Upstairs is an additional bedroom with single beds for 1 to 2 children. The gite is ideal for couples or a small family. The sheltered veranda and the patio are inviting areas where you can relax.


Gîte du Figuier (Sleeps 2 to 4 people)This small stone cottage is carefully furnished and situated on three open mezzanines. On the ground floor there are the entrance hall, a bathroom, a separate toilet and the kitchen with a view of our wonderful figtree. On the first floor there is the spacious living room and on the top floor, there is a double bed. If necessary there are two single beds in the living room therefore this charming cottage can also be rented by a small family. The wooden deck which is surrounded by a lot of trees offers a lot of peace and privacy.


Gîtes des Noyers et du Cèdre (Sleep 4 to 8 people)These two spacious flats are located in a restored tobacco house. Both offer an extraordinary view on the valley and its magic sunsets. There are three bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, a large living area with a well-equipped kitchen in each flat. There is room enough for 6 adults and 2 children (two double beds and four single beds) to live and relax. The terraces offer a great view on the valley of the Dordogne and the park.
