The house is located near the active spa town of Bagneres de Bigorre and within close proximity to La Mongie, the largest ski resort in the Pyrenees! We are ideally situated for a family skiing holiday and for the more active skier, off piste skiing can be found from the Pic du Midi.
Our chambre d'hotes acts as a fantastic base for exploring the local area. Be sure to visit local attractions such as the Pyrenean National Park, the Cirque du Gavarnie ‘a UNESCO world heritage site’, the pilgrimage town of Lourdes and the famous cols of the Tour de France. This delightful area is paradise for cycling enthusiasts and we are able to devise tailor made routes for mountain bikers and road cyclists to ensure you get the best from the area. Our guests can enjoy the pleasure of breakfast and home cooked evening meals using only the freshest local produce. Julie, a trained masseuses is here to help ease your aching muscles after an active day in the mountains.
For children, there are plenty of activities to keep them occupied including caves, mini golf, tennis, animal parks, water parks & adventure parks. During the summer months, there are numerous fetes, an international Jazz festival at Marciac and a wine festival at Madiran.
We are also near the Golf Country Club de Bigorre that enjoys a fabulous setting with stunning views of the Pic du Midi de Bigorre and the Pyrenees.
