A unique opportunity to be a guest in a charming 4 bedroom Bed and Breakfast Mill house situated in a stunning waterside location, just minutes walk to the local village and a short drive to the stunning Atlantic coastline. Activities included, and the ideal accommodation for families or groups of friends looking to explore further this beautiful region of France.

The accommodation of this wonderful property comprises of 4 en-suite bedrooms, and guests have use of a lounge/dinning room consisting of a TV, dvd, free WIFI access, and a guests' kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, fridges, sink, kettle, toaster, all crockery/cutlery pans and glasses and washing machine. There are barbecue facilities in the gardens for fans of Al fresco cooking and outdoor tables and chairs.

Guests will be treated to a full continental breakfast and picnic lunch for your days spent exploring, and guests also have free use of the "Toy Box" which consists of bikes, various sailing dinghies, sailboards, and catamarans for sailing on the nearby lakes, river boats with electric outboard and kayaks for use on the river, fishing rods, swimming pool, badminton, football, table tennis, hot tub and volley ball. With breakfast and lunch being provided, mum has a break and our guests have freedom like a house rental.

This beautiful riverside location and free use of the swimming pool, boat, kayaks, bicycles and fishing rods etc. mean that guests will have no shortage of activities to enjoy. The extensive grounds are a haven for an abundance of wildlife such as Kestrels, Kingfishers, Hoopoes, Herons, red squirrels and much more making this an ideal location for photographers and painters. The house is close to woodland and rolling fields offering cyclist and walkers the perfect environment for whiling away the hours.

Guests can choose to go sailing either using the free dinghies - Lazer 1, Lazer 2, Topper, Ponant , Hobi-Wave Catamaran - or our sailboards. With no set programs to follow guests can choose what to do and when. Enjoy one of the many activities available or simply relax by the pool or under a shady tree with a glass of wine and a book.

Mareuil-Sur-Lay is in a little known wine producing area, with its own 'Appellation'. Follow the 'Route Des Vins' and taste the local white, rose and red wines at the small family run 'caves'
