Port Dordogne is in a tiny hamlet a short walk from the River Dordogne and just 30 minutes from Bergerac airport. There is also an SNCF train station just 600m from the house on the Libourne to Sarlat line.
This property is available for weekly Saturday to Saturday rentals between June 15 – September 15, however outside of those dates can be available for FLEXIBLE stays of a minimum of 3 nights.

Port Dordogne has a beautiful open plan sitting and dining area, with plenty of space for relaxing. There a a satellite Smart TV with Prime and Netflix. There is also a DVD and a CD player. The stylish dining furniture comfortably seats 12. There is an attractive wood burner for the cooler months.
The excellent kitchen includes a 5 burner range and double oven, and there are two fridges, including a large American style fridge, a dishwasher and a microwave. Small appliances such as coffee maker, kettle and toaster are also available. Another smaller dining area is in the kitchen.
There is a utility room with a washing machine on the ground floor.
Sleeping accommodation is organised in 6 bedrooms altogether, for up to 14 people. Two cots and high chairs are also available on the premises.
On the ground floor there is a double bedroom with a large sofa and ensuite shower room. Up the stairs from the kitchen are two additional double bedrooms, one of which also has a single bed in it.
Upstairs from the sitting room there are three bedrooms including one double, one room that can be made up as a twin or a double, and an additional double room with a single bunk bed over the top. This has an adjacent large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate shower.
There is a further bathroom with a bathtub and separate shower, and also a separate WC on the ground floor.
OUTSIDE
Port Dordogne has a level garden of 5000 sq m (1 acre) with the main feature being the former tobacco drying barn that has been opened up to provide a large au vent sheltered space for dining, with the 10 x 5m private pool immediately beside. The pool is heated to 28C, and the heating is included in the rental price.
A hot tub and sauna are also available complete with outdoor shower for the true Nordic experience!
Games include table tennis, darts, boules, badminton, a football goal, several adult and child bicycles, and a kayak, with the River Dordogne just 400m away from the house along a path.
A large built in charcoal barbecue is available as well as ample outdoor furniture for lounging in sunshine or shade.

The attractive town of Trémolat is in walking distance, its streets lined with houses of the local honey coloured stone and the typical Périgourdine roofs. There is a boulangerie and restaurants, as well as a weekly market on Tuesdays in July and August.
Trémolat also has a water sports centre on the riverside, and a little beyond the town is Le Cingle de Trémolat, a viewpoint and natural park over the bend of the river, with far views of the rolling Quercy countryside.
This area of France is a gourmand’s paradise, with quality wine production throughout the area, particularly around Bergerac, and Sarlat hosts an annual Truffle festival during the winter months with days of demonstrations, tasting and more.
