The perfect place for outdoor activities
We spent 7 days in this hotel. We had a large apartment, two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large living room. The hotel is located next to the vallorcine train station, so you can get around by train, instead of taking your car (by the way, traveling with the train is free for hotel guests). There is an indoor pool (very bad chemical smell), sauna and spa services, BBQ facilities, mini golf, among other facilities. Next to the hotel there is a small shop, where you can find almost everything to cook, if you want to eat in the apartment. Many excursions start at Vallorcine, plus a trail for Mont Buet to dared the little ones.

Nice and modern apartment
A very nice place, the apartment (we had a duplex) was very comfortable and modern. The size is also generous. The first sentence of my son when I reached the first level was: "Papa there are many doors". The residence propose many services, and I guess ice skating in winter should be a must-go (in summer has a mini-golf).
The only problem is that it requires you to take a speedo in the pool, and for me that is a deciding factor.

Nice and quiet, with easy access to the mountains.
A nice and quiet place, the staff and service are excellent. Very close to the lift to the mountains, just a couple of hundred meters walk. Great place to stay for trekking in the mountains. Small restaurant nearby.

Fantastic apartment in spotlessly clean. Very close to the train station to travel to Chamonix (approximately 25 minutes by train) and also 2 km from border with Switzerland. I highly recommend it for a base to explore the area. Receptionist extremely helpful and friendly.

Too isolated, away from everything and bad clothing and pool chemicals cause pain
Interior design and cleanliness are highly appreciated. However, I share some of my comments here and tripadvior opininons.

- (Location) This residence is really isolated from most attractions or places to visit, away from it all. My family was not even able to enjoy more than 1 activities with 'Chamonix Muliplass' after getting off the Aiguille du Midi. We actually thought we would be able to take at least 2 things after getting to the center of Chamonix, around 2pm. However, due to the train time, we had to cancel the plan to take the tram du Mont Blanc, and simply take a cable car halfway up to the Brevent. What a pity.

I think this place, located a couple of miles from the Swiss border, suits well only if your ski resort ski in the winter.

- (Toxic chemicals) As soon as we got to the hotel, a toxic chemical odor caused really bad headahce immediately, sneezing and monkfish. Sadly, these symptoms dragged on during my stay in the residence, making the trip totally unpleasant. Importantly, 3 of my 4 family members suffered the same symptoms, so not only is it random, which happened just unlucky for me.

- bed linen (badly) My family has 4, however I did a large apartment for 5 - 6 people, so each and every had a real bed, not a sofa bed sofa bed in the living room. However, the two single beds in room 2 are really small, as for children, so 2 adults do not sleep well.

Overall I think this place is ideal for skiers (maybe from Switzerland) on the ski slopes, just behind the residence.

Mont Blanc Visit
What a great place to relax. Great view. Apartments fully equipped and very private. Very spacious, we were 7 (4 adults, 3 children). Quiet location, a short drive from the city center. Spa, swimming pool, gym equipment, market for essentials, and private parking. Very clean. The staff is wonderful. Just make sure you have everything you need before the reception are gone, they are not available after hours unless you have an emergency. If you arrive after the hour that will explain the procedure, it is very simple. The beds are very comfortable. Ask for the water heater, the water can become very cold if you do not follow the instructions. We stayed for a couple of days, then went to Italy, liked it so much that we came back to stay a few more days.

Lovely stay
I was a bit worried as we had booked a weekend out of season (late April). But we had a great stay, the staff were helpful (good English) and good facilities. Very clean. A good 20 minute drive from Chamonix to the valley through spectacular scenery. Good supermarket 5 minutes from the road if necessary (Argentière).

End of winter travel tour
The space in the hotel was very good and clean. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The location was excellent for access to the lift or Vallorcine the road to Chamonix. Do not use the spa and fitness facilities.

The peace of the track.
Very efficient and welcoming before we arrived - helpful information via email to us at the time of booking. The staff is very helpful and attentive and everything is very clean. A quiet and relaxing place with close access to a system lift towards the mountains we never had to queue. I visited 4 years ago and enjoyed our return trip so much!

Wonderful
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of March 2017. We had a nice stay, as a family of 6. The apartment was comfortable and clean and the view from our room was breathtaking. The only negative was that the pillows were too large to sleep comfortably. The guest cards for train travel in the Chamonix valley were also very nice. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would stay here again.
