Just wanted to tell you how much we enjoyed our holiday in your lovely home. The garden was excellently kept and the pool was 'divine' (quote from my mother). Everything was really close by and real consideration has clearly gone in to making people feel at home. The garage was a big plus as it was well stocked with everything we needed, and all your stuff was excellent quality. We had quite a large group and I was a bit concerned that we'd get in each others way but the house was large enough and well equipped enough to prevent this.

We enjoyed it so much we're already thinking about returning again next year! We should have run out of wine by then.

Perfect holiday home for a large group

Setting is impressive; house well equipped with plenty of toys to make the children feel right at home. Our party of six adults and two children stayed for a week. We had a fabulous time. Loads of outdoor space and a BBQ at hand made eating outdoors each night a must. Spacious common living areas and plenty of bedrooms for all. Kitchen was well equipped. James was really helpful in pre-preparations for our stay (thank you). Highly recommend this accommodation to large groups or families. A perfect holiday enjoyed immensely by all of us.

Calm and restful holidays

We stayed one week during half term summer holiday and it was perfect.

We were two families with a total of 7 children (9 months to 10 years old) and we had more than enough space. The grounds are beautiful and being able to relax in the garden, around the pool or swim was exactly what we needed. It is really quite at night and perfect to catch up on rest and sleep.

The children said: "There was a lot of space to play. The swimming pool was great fun. It is a perfect place to spend your summer holidays"

Comfort wise this was one of the best appointed house we have used.

We were so comfortable we did not visit enough our surroundings however there is a lot to do in the area.

I would definitely recommend it and go again.

Perfect for family holidays

We had a really lovely holiday, for a week in September. We were 2 families with young children and a couple. The house is the perfect place for a family holiday, well kitted out for young children with everything you could need. There was also lots of space for all the group not to be together at all times but perfectly organised for lots of big meals in the garden and dining room on the one night we had a little rain.

The proximity from the airport was really good as we arrived at different times so didn't have too far to travel to get to the house. Most days were spent around the pool and the table tennis and extra toys were a real bonus.

There's lots to do in the area, we went on a trip down the Dordogne in canadian canoes and visited a couple of Chateau's. This is the second time we have stayed in Le Chalet to stay and each time we have visited different places as there is no shortage of things to do.

I would definitely recommend it for a holiday and will hopefully be visiting again.

Off Peak - Peaceful retreat

We had a truly relaxing fortnight at Le Chalet du Moulin Blanc. We have a young family and took the opportunity to travel outside school holidays.

The house was really well suited to two young families, plenty of beds and lots of practical stuff e.g. cots, highchairs etc.

The private grounds were huge and the children played safely including trampoline sandpit and pool with good safety for smaller non-swimmers. The house also has its own wooded area for dens and skirmishing. It would be really good for older children so many things to explore and table tennis which the adults enjoyed when the children were sleeping in the afternoons.

All the local amenities supermarkets, boulangerie were handy and we used the bikes to get bread most days. We loved visiting the local markets, vineyards and enjoying the open green spaces in the Dordogne. We did need a car for main shopping outings as there is nothing in walking distance, but therefore its very peaceful.

This was a real find for an off-peak family holiday.

A wonderful hideaway in Bergerac

What a wonderful place Le Chalet du Moulin Blanc is! It just blew us away on arrival and the 'wow' factor continued when we got inside with beautiful bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen and bathrooms and wonderful lounge. The Chalet was easy to find and only a stone's throw away from the airport - but far enough to feel like you were in the middle of the country. Amazingly convenient for all facilities by car with most things only five to ten minutes away.

Would heartily recommend to anyone who is looking for a property which is restful and charming. A real find!

Excellent séjour entre amis

Pool was excellent and the kids loved to play in the open garden, jumped in the trampoline or played some table tennis. We adults relaxed in the sun lounge or grilled some fish on the barbecue. Tennis in Bergerac, Golf half hour away and good shopping possibilities and restaurants nearby. All in all: perfect house for relaxing with an extended family.

Nevertheless, the kitchen is not very well equipped for cooking (we missed some big pots) and the shower in the first floor was unusable (some problems with the discharged water).

We stayed at Le Chalet du Moulin Blanc for two weeks last Summer. We felt very comfortable in the house, the location being a short drive from Bergerac airport was ideal for us - our two small children (aged 6 and 2) were delighted to arrive at the house so quickly following our flight from the UK. The house itself is very spacious, light and very well equipped. The bathrooms are basic but perfectly functional and with plenty of hot water.

This is an ideal holiday rental for people with young children, or those travelling with extended family - there is plenty of space for everybody, and a great supply of toys in the garage and garden to play with and an enclosed pool area which meant the children could play outside without being able to access the pool unsupervised. The location of the house is very convenient, and the garden is idyllic.
