There are 4 luxurious bedrooms, each named after a French wine.
On the first floor, the Champagne master bedroom features a super king sized bed, ensuite shower room and built in wardrobes. Sauterne is a double with a king sized bed and ensuite shower room. Malbec bedroom can be made up as a super king, or two single beds. On the upper most floor, Syrah is a twin with two single beds.
In addition to the ensuites there is a family shower room with a convenient double washbasin and WC on the first floor, and another WC on the ground floor.
A cot, high chair, and stair gate are available. Bed linen is supplied, and for stays of 2 weeks or more, additional sets are supplied. Bathroom towels and pool towels are also supplied.
Secret Bouriette’s spectacular kitchen is equipped with a 6-burner gas range with double oven, American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a great range of crockery and small appliances such as a coffee maker and kettle. The large island has convenient seating for cocktails or breakfast.
The formal dining table seats 8, and the sitting room features comfortable seating around a fireplace. The television offers Freesat UK channels and French terrestrial (TNT) channels. There is also a DVD and CD player, and some board games.
Fibre internet is installed, backed with repeaters around the house ensuring great speeds. There is also a workstation in one of the bedrooms. Please note the computer shown in the workstation photo is not available for guests.
The expansive garden boasts a 10 x 5m heated pool, with a ‘continental shelf’ and integral steps at one end, allowing the very young to be in the water without being out of their depth. Sun loungers and parasols are provided on the pool terrace. Pool heating and pool towels are included in your rental price.
Adjacent to the pool area is a playhouse with swings. The pool house also houses badminton, croquet and boules. There is table tennis in the courtyard by the house.
A redundant building has been converted into a courtyard area for a sheltered outdoor space, and in front of the house is a delightful pergola for outdoor dining and relaxation. A charcoal barbecue with an initial supply of charcoal is provided.
