4 Bedroom Charming House with Heated Swimming Pool in Saint-Nectaire, Puy-de-Dôme Reviews

We had a very very pleasant stay at Oustalou. The house is perfect for summer holidays. The garden and swimming pool are hidden from view and the church is a guardian.
I wanted to say how very pleasant Agnès is and how incredibly clean the house is.
And of course if we come back to Auvergne, it will be with you.

We (family of 4) stayed at l'Oustalou for 2 weeks and enjoyed every day. The house has a lot of character, plenty of space and is very well equipped, incl modern TV and WiFi. It is located on a hilltop just below a 12th century Romanesque church, with great views over the surrounding countryside, yet total privacy. The swimming pool is large and very well maintained, and the garden offers space to relax and to eat. A convenience store and a bakery are just down the hill. The village is ideally located to explore the beautiful countryside, and it takes less than half an hour to get to Lac Chambon and the Monts Dore. The owner was a pleasure to deal with (in English) and very helpful. Highly recommended!

Ideally located to explore this magnificent region. The house is very cozy, tastefully decorated. The kitchen is certainly small but sufficiently well equipped. The bedrooms are a good size and the view is breathtaking. We also witnessed the hot air balloons take off, superb! The swimming pool is well maintained, even if we had to collect a lot of leaves on the surface every day, the beautiful garden being surrounded by trees. We recommend this rental to people who love nature and houses with a soul. We will come back with pleasure!
