The apartment was roomy, clean & updated. Best bathrooms we have seen in Port La Galère so far.. Apartment was exactly as described / shown on the photos. Communication with the owner was excellent: fast & clear.

We just returned having spent a week at Leopoldine's property in the exclusive Port la Galere 20 minutes west of Cannes. Go now!! It was a little slice of heaven.

The apartment was in a lovely condition. White furniture, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms and good entertaining space. There are two balconies, both of which overlook the sea. The kitchen was nicely appointed and had essentially all that we needed to cook and entertain. It is a small kitchen, but for us it worked just fine.

It has a private entrance and fantastic access to the tennis courts as well as the beach. It's quite hilly, which we loved as it made for additional privacy and magestic views.

The pools are big and have character. One is salt water and the other is chlorinated. People were a little irritable with kids making noise but we were there off season so maybe this is why?

All in all it's a fabulous property. Leopoldine was easy to work with and takes pride in her place.

The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable with fantastic views. In practical terms the kitchen has full-size appliances (cooker, fridge, dishwasher, washing machine etc.), there is a comfortable sitting area with modern TV and DVD, and upstairs the two full-size bedrooms have cooling air conditioning and modern bathrooms.

Whilst there is no dedicated parking for the apartment we always found somewhere near to park, and for arrival and departure it is possible to park outside the apartment for unloading/loading of the car.

In terms of the complex itself the Winter Club is approximately a 3-4 minute walk away, and the Summer Club, where the pool is located, is approximately a 7-8 minute walk away, both require a walk either down fairly steep steps or along the road, which takes slightly longer. Coming back there is a free shuttle bus if energy levels are low.

The Summer Club has a fantastic pool, bar, restaurant, and surrounding beeches. Whilst the beaches are rocky, it is a “flat rock” so comfortable to lie on with a towel, or you can hire a sun-lounger for €5 per day. There is a lifeguard at the beach so it is safe to swim, and there is a nice floating sunbathing area in the bay, which is easy to swim to.

On-site there is a small shop that is useful for the basics or emergencies, but for a full shop the Geant Casino is the best option, and is a 15 minute or so drive away along the scenic coast road. The Summer Club restaurant is quite lively and also has a take away pizza parlour, both of which are good, and for formal dining in a sedate atmosphere there is the Winter Club restaurant. Theoule-sur-Mer itself is only a few minutes away by car but parking is difficult, and can be walked in about 40 minutes, and it has a small supermarket and a mix of bars and restaurants.

The owner, Leopoldine, was very helpful, and everything was ready for us when we arrived. All in all it is an apartment we would recommend and consider visiting again in the future.

The flat is bright and peaceful, with two big terraces both with wonderful views. Furnished with taste, the bathrooms have been recently fully renovated. Thoughtful welcome package that made us feel at home right away. The whole compound is very well kept and full of beautiful trees. This is my second visit and I have recommended this property to several friends.

Very accurate description and would highly recommend. The apartment is clean, bright and has charm and comfort and a practical lay-out - two terraces to inhabit (we ate on the lower terrace every day) both have ravishing views down to the sea. Spotless new bathrooms and a large sitting room with two sofas to retreat to for day-time dozing. Easy access to the wonderful swimming pool and the bar and restaurant of the club house.

Port la Galere is a unique place "pieds dans l'eau" - right by the sea. Very quiet in offseason and the sea warm enough to enjoy a swim from its own rockside-beach. The apartment is pleasant, spacious and well equipped. We appreciated the heating which functioned well, so we felt cosy despite the rainy weather. The mattress could be a little firmer, but thats a very personal judgment. The only thing missing was a scale, to keep a check on our weight. Especially loved the wonderful, mature gardens and the seaview. On rainy days we visited Museums such as Leger in Biot, Picasso in Antibes. Beware some of them are closed on Tuesday instead of Monday. There are a few steps into the apartment and quite a walk down to the sea, good exercise but maybe not for those with knee problems. The owner is very friendly, helpful and charming. Warmly recommend it.

This wonderful appartment is located in an exclusive, very well tended private housing area.

The appartment is very spacious, very clean, well furnished and has a fantastic panorama sea view from both big balconies. The appartment and especially the kitchen is fully equipped with everything that you may need during your stay.

We enjoyed our stay very very much and plan to come back next year.

I stayed for a week with my family (3 children) and we had a wonderful time and beautiful weather. The property was spacious and had all the amenities we needed. People helped us in a friendly way and helped us translate things into English. The condo and the property are magnificent. My kids loved the spiral staircase! We would definitely recommend and definitely consider staying again.
