200 year old Barn Conversion 75 minutes from Calais in Somme, Picardy - The Barn Reviews

We stayed for a week with our 8 &5 year old granddaughters. What a fantastic place , spotless , every amenity within the Barn . Great garden for kids and BBQ . Location ideal for getting to the beach and also nearby villages and places of interest . Good restaurants in St Riquier . Mike and Lorraine really helpful with things to do . Surrounding countryside really beautiful. Sorry I can only give 5 stars won't let me add a sixth !

such a lovley week we had in this lovley property all home comforts.
helpful owners nothing to much trouble,the area was so interesting somewhere to visit every day.
the garden was a pleasure the birdsong was incredible it was the only noise we heard.
if you were looking for peace and tranquility this is the ptoperty for you

We had a great week at the Barn - I can't imagine a lovelier place to stay in the Somme area. The barn is beautiful, comfortable and extremely well equipped and our dog Pip loved the large garden. The upstairs balcony was perfect for evening drinks.

There are lots of places to visit, not just the war memorials but also lovely seaside towns at the Baie de Somme and gorgeous rose gardens at Les Jardins de Valloires. Good cafes in nearby town of St Riquier.

We thoroughly enjoyed our week in the barn with our dog, Martha, who loved the huge and very secure garden area. There were 3 guests staying in the house for 3 days whilst we were there but they were out all day so we had the place to ourselves 90% of the time. The barn is exceptionally well equipped, very clean and tidy on arrival and we simply wanted for nothing all week. We enjoyed exploring the area and the friendly bar in the local village a short drive away.
