16th Century Stone Farmhouse with Private Pool in the Lot, South of Limousin

For those of you unacquainted with the Lot, you will find it to the south of the Limousin in southern central France. It used to be described as an area which was undiscovered by tourists but that has now changed and it has become a favoured  area for family holidays and for couples retreats. However, it never seems to be crowded except on a market day in one of the many towns and villages offering local traditional fare such as duck, Rocamadour cheeses walnuts and wine,

The Lot offers the perfect location for a relaxing holiday in a quintessentially French environment.

The Causse de Gramat where our accommodation is situated is a national park containing some wild, rocky and wooded scenery, towns which have played host to the Knights Templar, relics of the 100 years war and much more.

Le Marronnier is our holiday home, bought by us in 2000 and lovingly refurbished to a high standard. 
While we would love to spend all the summer there, we are not able to, and so we make it available to those who want to visit this lovely region.
Our 16th-century stone farmhouse faces south to the Célé valley in an area known as "Place del Sol" - "Place of the Earth".
This spacious house sleeps six people and offers guests complete comfort in a traditional style.

The accommodation consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 doubles and a twin bedded room and is, therefore, suitable for small groups of friends or families. The downstairs bedroom is ensuite and the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor share a bathroom and toilet. There is exclusive use of a private pool.
