The house is just over 1 hours drive from Boulogne and 1 3/4 hours drive from Calais. Sleeps 6-8 with 3 bedrooms and a folding sofa bed in the salon.
Facilities: include bathroom/shower room with 2 separate WC’s, constant hot water, telephone, French TV and washing machine.
The sheltered courtyard and front garden are marvellous for 'al fresco' lunches as well as relaxing in the sun.
Three bedroomed newly decorated comfortable farmhouse in peaceful Hamlet. Five minutes by car to the beach.
Accommodation:
Ground floor - large lounge with three-piece suite (includes double sofa bed). Spacious dining room adjacent to new kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave (oven), electric oven/gas hob, washing machine, WC.
Top floor - Two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, all with fitted wardrobes and electric radiators, carpeted throughout. Bathroom/shower and separate WC. Shower room with W.C.
In the spacious front garden, you will find a courtyard, with garden furniture and a barbecue, perfect for lazy days in the sun. Together with its own garage, it's a great holiday retreat.
Domestic Information
For any ironing - please use power point behind fridge in kitchen, as most of the points are for lighting purposes only. Butagas/Electric Cooker,
gas supply comes from the cylinder, so remember to turn the gas on by turning the supply tap anti-clockwise before pressing the spark indicator to light the gas.
To operate the oven, please read the booklet of instructions. Empty cylinders may be exchanged for full ones at the 'Carrefour Contact' supermarket in Ault.
I will reimburse you for gas cylinder refill costs on your return home.
China/Cooking, Found in cupboards above fridge/freezer and kitchen sink, while cutlery/utensils are found in drawers above and to the side of oven.
Early Morning
The local Boulangerie delivers to the neighbours at about 8.00am. Baguette/Croissant. Late risers could ask him to leave orders on the kitchen window-sill Deliveries for the duration of their stay. Alternatively visit the local Boulangerie in Ault, open: 6.30am-12.45pm but closed Tuesdays.

30 to 45 minutes’ walk along gravel roads across the fields. The shortest route is not the obvious one! The shortest route: follow the road past the sun dial at small T-junction and proceed in the direction of Ault. The beach is pebbly at high tide and sandy at low tide.
Local Drives
By car or bicycle: either drive past Ault and turn off to Bois de Cise ,
Or proceed from Cayeux sur Mer to le Hourdel by "Le Litoral" route,
Or
Visit Le Crotoy and walk along its fantastic long sandy beach - better than Bournemouth!

Special Rental Conditions
Public Holidays, including Christmas, New Year, Easter, May and August Bank Holidays are priced at £460 per week (one week minimum).
There is a £40/week discount for staying a second week in the High Season.
At other tomes of year the discount will normally be £40/week for a second week.
Repeat bookings also attract a £60 discount.
Deposits: A 25% non-refundable deposit is payable at the time of booking.
In addition there is a £200 refundable deposit against keys and accidental damage.
