If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing break, then La Varache is the ideal place for you! It is situated in the heart of the Limousin countryside abound with trails and footpaths that wind their way through the lush un-spoilt scenery and quiet country villages that the whole district is renown for. La Varache is ideal for the active holidaymaker making an excellent location from where to explore the surrounding countryside and attractions.
There are TWO well equipped and furnished Gites at La Varache accommodating up to 13 people. The holiday homes are set in 45 acres running along side the river Vienne which is a haven for fishing enthusiasts. Many animals can be found on site including chickens, geese, ducks and rabbits which are all free range. We even have trout in the ponds!
Gite One:
Two comfortable first floor bedrooms: One with a double bed and the other with a double and a single bed. There are also two single fold-up beds.
Spacious lounge: is an original inglenook type fireplace for cosy evenings next to the log fire. Sofa which converts into a queen sized bed allowing 2 more people to sleep in this gite.
Bathroom with bath shower.
Well equipped Kitchen: washing machine, dishwasher etc. Off the kitchen there is a large stone built deck equipped with a table a chairs and lounge chairs. There is a BBQ area as well.

The local village of Eymoutiers has a produce market every Saturday and is nearby. Limoges is only a 30-minute drive from La Varache. This ancient roman cathedral city, which is famous for its porcelain, offers plenty of activities including several historical sites. Great for some shopping and the city life.
